Bida città al nord del Fiume Niger, nodo della carovaniera che attraversava il deserto, e' stata famosa per secoli come centro di produzione di manufatti in vetro. Specialmente di bracciali e collane.

Bida in the Nupe Country north of the Niger River, node of the trade route crossing the Sahara desert, has for centuries been famous for bead-making and indeed for making glass which is mainly used for armlets.
